On Monday, May 12, 2008 the pack took a field trip to JAARS (Jungle Aviation And Radio Service) to hold its final Pack Meeting of the year. The focus of the trip was to visit the ham radio operators, and learn about how ham radios work and how they are used by JAARS. The highlight for many of the scouts was being allowed to talk on a ham radio.
